On June 3 2008 Trelleborg AB based in Sweden finalized the acquisition of MacDermid Inc.’s Offset Printing Blankets and NIP products division. Trelleborg develops high-performance solutions that seal damp and protect in demanding industrial environments. This acquisition will strengthen Trelleborg’s global position as a leader in advanced polymer technology and in-depth applications know-how.
The Trelleborg board and management have demonstrated their intent and commitment to build on a global leading position in the printing market segments with the acquired MacDermid products. Trelleborg is already strongly represented in the printing blankets market with its Vulcan® brand.
