The Longmont CO based Lehman Communications Corp has selected Quipp Systems as the equipment vendor who will provide Press conveying and Mailroom bundle distribution equipment for the new production facility currently under construction in Berthoud CO. Lehman Communications publisher of the Daily Times-Call and Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald in Longmont and Loveland CO respectively expect to commission their new production facility in the spring of 2009. In addition to these newspaper publications Lehman also publishes the Lafayette News Louisville Times Erie Review and the Superior Observer and numerous commercial products.
The installation will consist of three (3) Quipp Twin-Trak conveying systems designed specifically to deliver a multitude of products ranging from 1/4 fold tabloid and broadsheets formats coming off the press.
Quipp Systems will also provide a bundle distribution system to convey bundles from the customers inserting equipment to the truckloading positions.
