Quipp exhibits its QUIPP PACKMAN II at NEXPO 2008 in Washington DC announces the sale of a third QUIPP-NEWSCOM® 6 Inserter Control System to El Tiempo in Bogotá Colombia & installs inserter in Williamsport PA.

Quipp successfully exhibited its QUIPP PACKMAN II Packaging System with its new Signode Strapping Module at the NEXPO show in Washington DC.

The QUIPP PACKMAN II PACKAGING SYSTEM with its new Signode Strapping Module generated lots of interest from customers who are looking for ways to reduce labor costs.

According to Angel Arrabal Quipp’s VP of Sales & Marketing: “We are very pleased with the performance of the QUIPP PACKMAN. Customers seem to consistently reap the benefits of product containment through the stacking wrapping and strapping processes. We have recently sold six units to be installed at the new Transcontinental plant in California and four units to be installed at the Brunswick News in Moncton Canada.”

Quipp was also proud to demonstrate its QUIPP-NEWSCOM® 6 Insert Management Control System to NEXPO attendees in Washington DC.

Stuart Gardner developer of Quipp’s NEWSCOM® 6 Inserter Software was happy to show customers how our software can help them meet their production run challenges and provide better insert tracking and accountability.

El Tiempo has selected Quipp to upgrade their existing inserter controls for their third machine.

El Tiempo one of the largest newspapers in Colombia has just purchased their third QUIPP-NEWSCOM® 6 Insert Management Control System to install in their existing inserter.

The first QUIPP-NEWSCOM® 6 System upgrade was installed in Bogotá Colombia by Quipp personnel in April 2007 and the second in December 2007.

According to NAA the show next year will be in Las Vegas – March 9 10 & 11 (Monday Tuesday and Wednesday) at Mandalay Bay Hotel.
