PuzzleFlow Solutions announces the completion of installation at The Villages Media Group publishers of The Villages Daily Sun. The Villages Media Group has chosen PuzzleFlow Solutions WebPairer and Automator to provide automated ad preflighting and validation prepress and page pairing for their production facilities in Florida.
The Villages Daily Sun boosted by tremendous residential growth and a booming commercial market is ranked #1 among U.S. daily newspapers in circulation growth for the past five years and boasts 92% market penetration. The Daily Sun has won more than 60 editorial awards in various statewide and national contests this year and has won numerous national and state printing awards. Average paid daily circulation currently stands at 40 763 with peak season circulation expected to top 50 000 this winter.
The Daily Sun is now using PuzzleFlow Automator to manage their prepress input workflow preflight ad production management size verification page management and to perform automated file correction. PuzzleFlow WebPairer will be used to automatically generate imposed output paired plate proofs and send CIP3 data to the press. The Villages have also added Automator Light to manage secure upload preflight and soft proofing over the internet for their external commercial customers.
