Since the first introduction of its newspaper workflow and prepress systems in 2007 PMT (based in Novi Michigan U.S.A.) has grown to become an international supplier of printing and publishing software with major newspaper groups as clients and literally hundreds of newspapers and tens of thousands of pages being produced physically and digitally using PMT software every day.
“Honestly the name PuzzleFlow was a little confusing.” said Richard Laframboise President and CEO of PMT. “It was a legacy of the PDF foundation we used in our systems for many years. As we move away from being strictly a PDF processing engine to PMT’s more powerful multi-media hybrid language foundation we felt it was a good time to retire our use of the PuzzleFlow brand.”
“We are looking towards the future for our current customers while we develop innovative software that appeals to new users and new markets. In addition to many new features in the upcoming versions of Automator and WebPairer our current users will experience our steadfast commitment to their legacy needs with the addition of EPS and PS output capabilities.” Mr. Laframboise added.

As publishing becomes an information focused industry and the methods for distributing enhanced content grow and change PMT is furthering its already dynamic approach to production.
