As many of you are aware we are pleased to announce that after a distinguished career in the paper industry Peter Yonker Vice President will be retiring this summer. Since 1999 Peter has been an integral part of our success and all of us at ANC wish Peter and his wife Nancy the best of luck as they start a new chapter in their lives.
Peter began his sales career back in 1980 with Lake Superior Newsprint Company and successfully progressed through multiple corporate mergers to Manager National Accounts for Canadian Pacific Forest Products Company and then to Vice President Sales for Avenor America. Peter personifies the true meaning of a sales professional and he will be missed by his customers and counterparts at ANC.

As one career at ANC ends another is about to begin. We are pleased to announce that John Plouffe has agreed to join Alberta Newsprint Sales in the position of Vice President effective May 16th 2011.
John is an industry veteran who for the last ten years has held the position of Director of Newsprint National Accounts for Catalyst Paper (USA). Previous to this John enjoyed a successful career with Abitibi which included the position of Vice President Specialty Groundwood Paper Sales.
John will be based in Chicago where he and his family have lived for the last twenty years. He holds a Teaching Degree from Alt University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western University.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to John and wish him every success in his new role at ANC.
