Presteligence is pleased to announce recent software sales to Ogden Newspapers and Cox Newspapers.
Ogden Newspapers purchased 12 Production Workflow Systems from Presteligence as part of the Southern Lithoplate CTP Alliance. Presteligence will supply the NewsXtreme Lite software Harlequin RIP– version 8 and hardware to the Ogden properties. The Ogden sites will gain full automation of page pairing and 4 8 and 16-up imposition with NewsXtreme Lite. They will also have the ability to approve or reject the soft proofs of pages and plates. All the installations are slated for completion by the end of the year in conjunction with their ECRM MAKO NEWSmatic installations from Southern Lithoplate.
Shortly following four other Cox Newspaper installations in North Carolina and Texas both Grand Junction Daily Sentinel and Longview News-Journal will use Adinfinitum for e-tearsheets and invoice delivery. The Texas papers plan to launch this service to their advertisers by the end of summer. They will post their daily newspapers as well as their weekly publications and special sections to the site. Fellow Cox Newspaper Waco Herald-Tribune (TX) has seen much success with Adinfinitum since deploying in 2006. Adinfinitum allows internal staff and advertising clients to view tearsheets and invoices via the internet or email attachment. The completely hosted service saves newspapers time and money by eliminating the need for physical copies of tearsheets and invoices.
