ANN ARBOR MI (February 25 2008) – At this week’s America East Conference MediaSpan Media Software announced the release of new versions of two of its software solutions. ProductionManagerPro version 4.3 and CirculationPro version 3.6 are now shipping to customers. Both products have added features to improve automation enhance reporting options and increase processing speed.
ProductionManagerPro has added more automated features to make ad tracking faster more powerful and more efficient from order entry through archiving. Version 4.2 added compatibility with Quark 7 and Multi-Ad Creator 8 along with other enhancements. One major new feature is a generic check-in and check-out of ad documents where any type of ad for print web banner flash and other audio or video can be created and tracked by ProductionManagerPro with standard tools such as Photoshop FinalCutPro Macromedia Flash and more. ProductionManagerPro version 4.3 adds new plug-ins to work with Adobe InDesign CS 3.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette has been using ProductionManagerPro for seven years now and recently upgraded to version 4.2. Rick Mullen Creative Services Manager for the Northwest Arkansas News a newspaper group that handles the Democrat-Gazette along with two other dailies and several weeklies described the software solution as “a great asset.” Mullen touted the efficiency of ProductionManagerPro saying the software is “key in the management of tracking art and other ad elements through the work cycle.”
CirculationPro version 3.6 incorporates changes designed to improve auditing procedures and accuracy and validation. One new feature tracks each subscriber in complete detail for every day in history; another function can reprint subscriber data route lists and mail subscribers for any date in the archive history. The expanded auditing capabilities and detailed tracking and reporting makes auditing easier and more accurate and makes for the best ABC/CAC and VAC audit tracking and data validation in the industry.

The latest version of ProductionManagerPro’s new Java-based server works on either Mac OS X or Windows with the database running on the powerful MySQL Pro 4.1 platform. CirculationPro is also now equipped to take advantage of the increased speed from using MySQL.
