The influential business magazine will use K4 the leading solution integrating Adobe® InDesign® and InCopy® to manage its design and editorial workflow.
Harvard Business Review’s K4 setup includes 22 seats along with the K4 Web Editor and XML Exporter add-ons to enhance its functionality. The magazine’s staff used QuarkXPress before switching to InDesign 18 months ago and recently decided to upgrade its workflow to a more robust database solution.
Along with MEI’s service team for installation and system administrator training K4 integrator Technology for Publishing played a key part in bringing the implementation to fruition. TFP’s roles included providing Harvard Business Review’s staff with InDesign InCopy and K4 training helping develop a new production workflow and configuring the system to meet the site’s exact needs.

Its intuitive interface provides remote access to the database and accurate representations of K4 articles complete with styling font mapping layout geometry and page previews.
