Dear Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging Customer
Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging USA Inc. will sell its printing plate business and plate manufacturing facility American Litho to Southern Lithoplate Inc. The sale is expected to close Friday October 1st. This decision was based on a change in the long term corporate strategy of Konica Minolta Medical & Graphics Inc.
The result is our printing supply customer base along with any contracts in place and accounts receivable balance will transfer to Southern Lithoplate as of October 1st. Digital Print Production customers will be transferred to Konica Minolta Business Solutions Inc. as of October 1st. Digital Print Production customers will receive a separate letter on contact information at Konica Minolta Business Solutions.
We thank you for your loyal support and are committed to continue earning that support while facilitating the transition to Southern Lithoplate. We want to ensure continuity of supply and service through this transition process. It is our belief the synergy between Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging and Southern Lithoplate will ultimately benefit our customers and the marketplace alike.
Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging has a long history of service to the Printing industry throughout the western hemisphere. We are very pleased that our succession to Southern Lithoplate is with a company that shares our values of customer service and support.
Both companies have the same objective: To make this transition process as seamless as possible for our customers. Your Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging team of Sales Service and Administration will continue their support through close of business Friday October 1st 2010. All current order entry and fulfillment processes will remain in place through end of business Friday October 1st.
Southern Lithoplate will follow with a letter and a welcome package. New contact information for sales order entry and service support will be included. Any unpaid accounts receivable balance will transfer to Southern Lithoplate on October 1st.
