NORTH CANTON OH – Presteligence will introduce a My News…On the Go iPhone app at MediaXchange 2010 in Orlando Florida. The app will let readers view their newspaper subscription by flipping through pages clicking on stories and listening to the converted text to speech audio.
Presteligence will also show off the new advertising component of the service which allows publishers to gain advertising revenue for ad campaigns and sponsorships. All activity is logged with the number of impressions and click thrus. It’s a great way to add supplemental advertising dollars.
My News…On the Go allows publishers to give their readers a multitude of ways to read the paper—online via their computer through their mobile smart phone iPhone application and audio podcasts.
More than 25 newspapers are already using My News…On the Go for their e-edition service. Beaver County Times launched the service on March 1st replacing their previous vendor. Carroll County Times (Landmark) and Uniontown Herald-Standard (Calkins Media) most recently signed contracts to implement the service in April.
